Ok let me edit this since it was too long for anyone to want to read lol:

If Lebron leaves, Shaq's gone...that free's up 35-40 million in CAP SPACE. Mike Brown's sorry ass is as good as gone, but you can bring in a Byron Scott or Avery Johnson to coach Mo (he needs the ball in his hands more to be affective)..And you can sign TWO free agents that are talented..2 really good players are better than 1 great player (in a team sport). Joe Johnson and Rudy ? will be worth about 13million a piece..which is still LESS than you'd be paying Lebron.

What does the starting 5 line up look like?! PG: Mo Williams SG: Joe Johnson SF: Rudy ? PF: Antawn Jamison C: Varajao/Big Z

Well damn, they wont have a bench you say PG: Delonte West SG: Anthony Parker SF: Jamario Moon PF: J.J. Hickson C: Big Z/Varajao...

No team like this would EVER win a championship..Detroit Pistons: PG: Chauncey (Journeyman) SG: Rip Hamilton (Pretty good player) SF: Tayshawn Prince (Can shoot, but specializes in athletic ability and defense) PF: Rasheed Wallace (Can shoot, inconsistent but still spreads the court out and demands defensive assignments) C: Ben Wallace (Undersized, doesnt want to score, but can rebound and specializes in defense)..

hmmm...crazy, but might just work...losing Lebron and Shaq opens A LOT of cap space...and replacing Mike Brown with a capable PG minded/defensive coach like Byron or Avery means a more balanced game plan...

    Wrong........

And why is that? Because you buy into the hype that Lebron is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and if you can't win with him, you must be a scrub ass player of epic proportions?

Atleast when the Lakers brought in Gasol, Odom, Artest, they allowed them to play the same way they played BEFORE they got there..not trying to plug them into a flawed system of
"stand around and watch Lebron do everything". As great as Lebron is, he either needs a coach that's going to take the ball out of his hands and put it in his PGs hands, or he's going
to need to go somewhere and become a billionaire and hope he buys himself a championship along the way. Look at how great Melo is, he averages just under the same amount of numbers
in rebounds and points as Lebron (though his assists and blocks are nowhere near Brons)..his greatest asset is having a PG who can control the game...and a coach that says "hey, we
know you're talented..but we need our TEAM to play a certain way..and it's not Melo's way, it's the winning way"

If you didn't read it, you can't say that I'm wrong ? ...you don't even know what I said..it's sad that an adult won't read a couple paragraphs on a FORUM. You want the audiobook version?

The thing with Cleveland is, they been dead bro...Lebron had them on life support, but let's face it, he's been there 7 years with no 'Ship..it aint like they're 7 time back to back champions and NOW they're savior is leaving..they have as many championships as they had before Bron got there...

....that actually makes some sense (yes, I read the whole thing).

BUT--my sense is that Emotionally if LeBron leaves he might have to come back to OH disguised as one of the Lebrons from his Nike commercial 'cause he will be....unpopular does NOT cover it. I think "traitor" probably better describes how I think most folks out there will probably see him.

Thanks for reading, I figure anyone who read it would likely agree, but I edited it to make it more "user friendly"...

I do agree, that ? would have to either give Cleveland about 50million in charitable donations (only to appease the white folks)..and tuck his chain whenever he went around any ? ..lol

You think there are enough teams out there that can torch them AND a legit shooting guard..NIGHTLY?

I mean I dunno, I don't see Phoenix getting torched nightly and Amare and Nash are allergic to defense..

Turning down more to see if you could go somewhere else and win..plus he turned down 16 mil. then his stock dropped..it's like a player in college who could be a top 5 pick, but goes back to school to try to win a ship, then gets a knee injury and drops to the second round.

No but it IS better than having Lebron with no help...now if Shaq leaves, and they can trade Jamison...Bosh is coming to Cleveland

I still think they need to put the ball BACK into the PG's hand...point blank...Lebron bringin the ball up is the same reason Larry Hughes and Ricky Davis left...and that's the same thing most PG's and SG's will say

joe johnson will be looking for more than that but yea they would be a playoff team but not better, more like a 6-8 seed, jamison is getting old, big z might as well retire and sideshow is a guy you want on your team but hes no real threat in the paint, not only would they be lacking bigs but the perimeter defense would be atrocious and even tho he was somewhat exposed who would take over the leadership role?? nonee of them dudes would be half as effective, but off the strength of being deep with shooters would get them a playoff berth and an early elimination

Someone is going to give him atleast 14 watch...if they smart it will be ATL..but his ending was kinda horrible..and they need to replace Woodson with a better coach, and replace Mike Bibby as well...

Sorta like what they've already been getting lol...I do agree that Varajo is small and not that good offensively..but he's serviceable until a big comes into their grasps...I don't think if they lost Lebron they'd imediately need to win a ship, it's not like they are coming off 7 Ships with him there, they are coming off 7 disappointing years..it would be a completely different turn around for them making the playoffs and not winning when everyone for the last 2 years has written them off without Lebron...versus having the MVP and best NBA record for 2 years and losing in the playoffs...

They'd be the underdog, they'd be a bigger underdog and "Disney movie" type story than OKc this year...Rudy ? is CAPABLE of playing Perimeter defense, and when you need to D up a PG, you bring in Mo Williams, bring in Anthony Parker/Jamario Moon for SG's and SF's..bring in Hickson for PF's..or hell package Jamison and Boobie for a sign and trade for a PF...

If Bron leaves, no way they see a ship this decade.... Playoffs? Yes... 2nd round? Maybe... But that's where it stops. Don't forget what team we're talking about here...
