So in the Kendrick album thread thete was some article calling it the best album of the decade, taking over Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy's spot.

Posters had problems with either of those taking 'album of the decade" bragging rights...

So what really is the album of the decade?

(the decade would be from January 1st 2010 till now... for you dummies out there)

First that come to mind are Life is Good, GKMC, and Charity Starts at Home (Phonte).

Of the 3 I'd go with Charity Starts at Home. I'd have to look at release dates since 2010 to see what i may have forgot about

GKMC is debatable for the past 5years but since 2005 is a stretch.

Imma have to say no to that

I think it could definitely be in the running but somebody would have to put up a poll of the top albums of the past 10 years for me to really remember all of them. The only albums I can think of off the top of my head that can actually compete as a whole album and not just a few good singles are The Documentary and Food & Liquor. I could be forgetting something though.

Honestly I can't remember most of the tracks on those albums outside of the singles. I'm sure I tried to give the entire albums a listen at one point or another but College Dropout is the only album where I can actually remember not skipping through the songs.

Edit: But they should have had that Drive Slow remix with T.I. on the album.

Late Registration was one of those albums where basically every song became a single

    Heard em Say
    Touch The Sky
    Gold digger
    Drive Slow
    Hey mama
    Diamonds from Sierra Leon
    Diamonds Remix

Im going with late registration but if this was asked last year i would have had to pick either college dropout or MADVILLIANY.

But not "We Major", which production-wise, stood out over everything on that album.

Ye gets a slight "? you" for that.

Co-sign this ? here. We still got 3+ years to go before y'all start with this ? . I'd say the front runners are:

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye

    Life Is Good - Nas

good kid, m.A.A.d. City - Kendrick

    Tetsuo & Youth - Lupe

Charity Starts At Home - Phonte

I'm starting to remember the tracks from graduation a little more after looking them up online. Don't know how I forgot about this album. All the media controversy must be overshadowing his best work or something. In contrast to that, Game hasn't been relevant in a long time so The Documentary is the first thing that comes to mind.
