..........But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
In the NAS: "Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet."
In the NIV: "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." In one of the latest modern versions, it remains substantially the same.] NRSV: "Let a woman learn in silence with full submission. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent."
Here is one of ? 's prohibitions and I suppose it occurs to you that there are a number of people in our society who do not care for what this passage teaches. And there are many who acknowledge the value of respecting ? 's prohibitions generally, but not this one.

Paul was a man of his era,... judging him by the standards of modern W.Civ politically correct sensibilities is not helpful nor fair.
Man or woman,.... "little of bit of faith moves mountains"...
First person Jesus revealed His risen self to was a woman.
No doubt, simply by making known the truth she KNEW [had been given],
without any concern for her status on any human "totem pole,"
she greatly served Jesus the rest of her life on earth.
The Revelation promises to bless WHOEVER will heed it.
Gender irrelevant. -

How do you feel about woman preachers? That is, a woman who is the head of a church congregation? -
Even 2000 years ago people knew a ? shouldnt speak unless spoken to.
Now look what happened. -
It would probably depend on how this passage is taken. Someone man or woman may read this and accept it out of respect for what the Bible says. Then a man or woman may see the passage as a reason to promote gender bias. A man might get the impression that...regardless of their lack of leadership or authority...or respect, that a woman should just should respect a man for it. I believe it is not the case. It may also have a woman thinking that if a man is wrong about something, then she can't say anything. I believe differently.
