I use the word infatuation.. but think more to the point would be 'addiction' to Marijuana???

Some speak on it, use it, like it is a regular routine like brushing ones teeth in the morning...

At work got a guy who does it daily, and never shuts the ? about it, always speaking about his weed, his buzz, when he buying it, when the next time he smoking, how long til he get home to smoke etc etc

And other also speak non stop about it.. the memorabilia they own is all over the place..

And at times I feel like saying 'C'mon now! I got other ? to deal with than hear about your love affair with weed"

Am I missing something.. Aren't they just another type of junkie ? ... drug addicts.. they speak like it is completely good, completely right, and should be done by all

    Yep!! My thought exactly...

And reminds me as this guy is at work, there is another guy who is Indonesian and never stops using the word '? '.... a typical day is him walking by and saying to anyone "Sup my ? !" and he smiles and goes on his way... and his tone is genuine, not that he being rude...

And one day a guy from turkey said, "hey you knwo the guy who thinks he's black?" i said, "rudy?" he goes "yeah" and laughs.. lol

It's a lifestyle, not an addiction. I smoke as often as I want to but I don't run around talkin about weed to everyone if they're not interested in it. If I'm with other "stoners" it's tha same as watching football and talking about tha game with other fans of tha team. There's alot more to weed than just smoking it, there's alot of knowledge and wisdom to be learned along tha way if you read up on it. I'm more interested in politics, legal issues, health and science because of my interest in weed. Those things wouldn't appeal to me as much otherwise.

    this is the thing

when you do something a lot, you come to love it

you play ball alot, you love it. you live it. eat sleep and play ball. you do it enough you get real good at it too.

weed is the same thing. most the time these people dont do a lot besides smokin weed. so they get really really good at it (theyre proud of it too as if being able to smoke lots of weed is an achievement.) They eat sleep and live weed. Thats theyre thing.

waste of time though if you ask me. I used to be an everyday stoner, blazin up at least twice a day, i can't fuxx with that ? no more though. Wastes potential.

could be doing way more important things
What r these important things youve done.... I bet I have a better job than u and I smoke... PPL act like weed prevents u from going out... I work out and have an active life but I have no idea what ppl mean by "I could be doing more Important things" What have u done since u stopped thats so important .

basically my corpus callosum was no longer being effected by Tetra hydra canibinol so i was better mentally all the way around.

not to mention, women who smoke weed are anti-dimes.

Sounds more like you were ? up in life in general. Don't blame it on the weed cuz you had no ambitions for anything else.

the weed was exactly what was doing it.
i got rid of the x factor and the wuality of my life improved

and stoner ? are the anti dime

And it wasn't the alcohol? Alcohol is far worse then weed and has damaging effects (scientifically and visually proven). What about the fact that you caught a case for whatever reason? Did the weed tell you to do it?

How exactly is a dime smoking weed here and there not a fly specimen? You act like she's smoking ? . Anybody who Overdoes it looks tired and worn cause weed does slow you down, but that's the maximum.

P.S. most people who want to get paid and eat needs a job. If you let weed slow you from getting a job, then you have no one to blame other then you. There is also the drug screening at many jobs that makes plenty of people put it down with no problems.

I'm a very occasional weed smoker. I don't search for it, from time to time I'll come across some good free stuff and I take up on it.

I personally don't like the people who are constant about weed because it's annoying and to me immature. If you have nothing better to do than to constantly talk and need weed then you ain't doin' ? with your life.

This chick I know was a weed head like no other, this is all she talked about. It was weed and alcohol 24/7. Do you have any? Do you want any? Want to blaze? ? , I need a blunt right now! Do you know where to get any? etc.. etc...

? is mad annoying. I smoked a lot of weed in high school but I was never addicted, I just did it to do it with my dudes. Now I'm 24, I have kids and a wife. I smoke on very few occasions. Personally I would like to have weed as a sleep aid, prescription, but it's not like I NEED it. I average 5-6 hours of sleep during the week. It's enough but I still have a tired feeling throughout my day. When I smoke, I'm in bed a lot earlier and I feel great in the morning. I'm more so telling my brain I don't need that to sleep and I'm good on what I sleep on now.

I used to be like that when I was younger. I didn't talk about it all the time but I ain't gonna lie, I used to fiend for that ? . If you do something everyday, especially multiple times everyday like I did, you'll get hooked regardless of what it is. It could be doing push ups, whatever. Your body just feels like you need to do it because it's so used to it even if it technically isn't addictive.

But I do agree, people that gotta tell you every type of weed they smoke, when they smoked it and how they felt when they was blazed is corny as ? . I've known a few people like that.

i feel the same way.. its good for reflection

too much of anything isnt good for u.. so if u smoking 10 blunts a day dont expect positive results.. unless ur an artist or sumtin... but its good for meditation and reflection..

@ Ice - Your saying you stopped smoking weed and life got better... Maybe it was tha fact that you were responsible enough to try to make a change and not actually tha absence of weed that made those improvements. Quitting doesn't fix your life problems, addressing those problems and working to do better does. It's not weed that's tha problem, it's tha individuals mentality. My guess is when you stopped smoking you had tha impression that it was holding you back, so when you felt like you weren't being held back anymore it gave you tha extra confidence to improve yourself. You could have made those improvements while still smoking, but quitting made you feel like you were on tha right track. Thats just my stoned Dr.Phil analysis.

Since society has made it cool to be a d*ckrider & cool to not be authentic, everybody & their mommas are buying cigarillos out the ass. Weed is a popular thing now, when I blazed the 1st time..I wanted to get HIGH. Now these kids have ruin the coolness of blazing. Youtube, videos, etc got everybody on blast getting HIGH. Funny ? is how Jay-Z said "Don't drink Cristal, they racist!" Now clubs hardly sell it & everybody stopped drinking. I remember reading that when we were in slavery, we picked cotton & tobacco. How come ain't nobody sayin' "Don't use cigarettes, cigars or cigarillos?" I dunno, just my thoughts. Peace

Bingo. when most detractors realize this, maybe then they can get their pompous ? off of their high horse and use that energy they invest into worrying about what us potheads do so much into something more tangible

Because it's bragged about, because it relieves stress, and because a high chick is a dtf chick!

But I'm going with the modern infatuation being a side effect of the popular culture. I know in high school all I did was smoke, part of it was to relieve stress, but mainly it was because I seen ? on TV smoking it and all my friends smoking it so just joined in. Even now I hardly smoke, but the minute someone brings it I'm cheifin til it's gone just because.

    maybe

i also changed my group of friends when i quit too
i think thats what kinda had me not caring

started hanging out with people who bring me up instead of keep me down

when i smoked though, i was like Kliche said
i had a pair of knobetta jeans with weed leafs on the front
i was always talkin with my friends bout when were gunna get high
    coppin that new ?
    whos sellin the killa chron

that ? eventually does become your lifestyle, and i mean
unless you're an artist or someone who needs that extra creative thinking i dont think weed really benefits you all that much

I learned at a very young age (13). Control the weed, and never let the weed control you. There are plenty of successful people who smoke weed, you might not know it but trust me they do. It's all about being responsible. Handle your business, and at the end of the day light up. That's the best high IMO, coming home to smoke with everything done and you can truly relax and enjoy your high.
