    you can't fault people who not knowing about her though..

    The USA Today had a profile on her a couple of weeks ago, got a chance to read it, which led me to looking up some of her music and she's not bad. She got the type of music you can ride home to on a late night....Happy she won

    i hear that and agree with what ure saying, but ure not the type of person im talking about.
    what im talking about is, things like the grammys, or watever determining who is hot or not and then the masses following ? thats what is hot right now.....a natural, afro rocking, black woman doing jazz.....like i sed though, had i shown this same natural woman to the masses a week ago i would have got shut down. From what you say though, u dont fit into the category im talking about, u heard good music, recognised it and became attached....? it was good, not ? u were told it was good.

    i just hope she doesnt get manipulated like so many of the good artists out there
