boondock saints is one of my favorite movies. v for vandetta was meh. i actually thought about walking out the theater when natalie portman shaved her head. i dont ? with bald hoes.
-
im'a go with V for Vendetta..
politically themed.. better dialouge.. ? was merciless.. and that fine as white ? that played on Star Wars.. -

honestly both movies were garbage to me. i still don't get why people like Boondock Saints like that, it's ok but the ending court scene is atrocious. it's a movie you thought was great in the 90's but if you go back and watch it it's really corny. Dafoe is hilarious as a ? cop but that's about all that holds up

V for Vendetta, and this isn't even close.

How is Boondock Saints compared to the sequel? Cause I took a chance on part 2,bought it and didn't like it.

first off that ? looked like some cheap TV movie. that scene in particular was corny and contrived you're dumber after watching that ? . first Boondocks was a cheap Tarantino imitation and i can tell now the sequel is some wackass tryin to be Fight Club rip-off. plenty of better movies on that tip, go to the source not some lame wannabe. -

Evey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
Evey Hammond: Oh. Right.
V: But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona.
V: Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
dare a ? post a better quote or corny punchline from Boondock Saints better then the above..
there's other "poetic" exchanges as well.. this one damn near ? on any movie period though.. -
Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not ? , do not ? , do not steal, these are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever ? you wish.
[Murphy and Conner join II Duce behind Yakavetta]
Connor, Murphy, Il Duce: And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand.
Yakavetta: Vaffanculo - "? You" in Itallian
Connor, Murphy, Il Duce: That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
Il Duce: In nomine Patri.
Connor: Et Fili.
Murphy: Spiritus Sancti.
[they execute Yakavetta]

Thank you!
Boondock saints can't compare in anyway. -
Rocco: [seeing a room full of mobsters killed by Connor and Murphy] ? ' … what the ? ' ? … who the ? … ? this ? ' … how did you two ? ' ? … ? !
Connor: Well, that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word
Saints FTW -
what was the basis of comparing these two movies???
VFV is a revenge/socio-political movie
BS is a underbelly crime thriller
they jus dont match up to me
VFV vs Fight Club
Saints vs Departed or that movie with Chow Yun Fat & Mark Wahlberg,The Corrupter
thats more like it -
How is Boondock Saints compared to the sequel? Cause I took a chance on part 2,bought it and didn't like it.
apples & oranges
BS 2 sux
nothin like the first one
that was jus a studio tryna cash in on a cult classic
do yourself a favor and peep part 2 -
Agrre with you first post it is definitely hard to compare the two.
V for Vendetta would be better off being compared to Wathmen in which case Watchmen wins -
