if that means you are able to get a more quality and more expensive engagement ring
for example: If your man can only afford to buy a $2,000 e-ring with straight cash, would you accept that over him buying a $5,000 plus e-ring and financing what he can't pay for and just makes monthly payments until he pays it off

I would prefer that he didn't but if a man finances an engagement ring it would probably be without my knowledge. Isn't it supposed to be a surprise?

I don't mind. The one I want is $5400. I am going to try to get it with less carats so it's cheaper, but if not, I cant' say I mind him financing it.
