They were stronger looking because they were doing more roids.

Wrestling like many other things, just ain't as good as it used to be.

Plus the names are garbage too. But I chalk that up to the WWE moving away from "characters" to real ppl for the most part.

ok u named like 5 out of like 5000.. ill take my odds over yours.. besides .. dont you think you stopped seeing super huge guys cuz of the steroid policy.. and the deaths that ocurred from all those 80 as and 90s legends dying.. ? half of the wcw roster in 98 died from roids.. it seems at least.. thats why you see guys like randy orton slim down to a natural look instead of looking all roided up like he did back in 2003...

    I'm a go with this ^^^^
Ever since the Benoit murders went down Vince had to implement a new drug testing policy meaning a lot of them guys can't do the drugging that went on in the 80s-90s. Wrestling is not good as it once was b/c Vince has hired mostly writers from Hollywood now instead of sticking with vetran writers that understand what wrestling is about. The new era talent compared to the legends of the 80s & 90s are really that great of talent to begin with. Alot of the mid-carders and main event stars now would have been jobbers coming up in the 80's.

Edge was on roids. His (ex)wife put him on blast when she found out he was cheating with Lita.

She said he had to do it to keep his job because everyone else around him was getting pushes because of their size. Edge is 6'5 and at the time, weighed about 225. He started roiding and blew up to 255 and got him main event push. Then that's where the injuries started rolling in....
