He had a client. Client decapitated his wife and kept her head in the fridge. The DA decided to pin two other murders on him b/c he couldn't close them. Lincoln Lawyer got his client off even though he knew he was guilty of killing his wife.
People just can't help but make these hyperbolic statements. Instead of saying, "You know, Bush really wasn't a good president." They go to "WE SHOULD'VE IMPEACHED THAT GUY!"
Just approach something for what it is.
