Of course.......Americans never do anything for humanitarian reasons & when they do it's only for OIL....why did this President run his campaign on false pretences then? IE he's gonna be transparent and transform this nation. How come these troubled countries in the ME/N Africa won't just cut us off & start taking care of thier own people and give them the freedom they deserve and want....why? Why do these countries think we sacrifice our own soldiers & we shouldn't expect something in return 4 our efforts? All these tribes fighting one another for power & Americans get caught in the middle every time.
History has shown that 9 times out of 10 the instigators of these troubles are usually factions of the CIA and other American intelligent Agencies...this has happened even in poor caribbean countries like Haiti and Jamaica. -

After a brief resurgence earlier this year, President Obama's poll numbers are back in the dumps. A new Quinnipiac Poll released Wednesday finds Obama's approval rating at the lowest point in his presidency, thanks in part to voter angst over the economy and his handling of the situation in Libya.
Just 42 percent of those polled approve of the job Obama is doing, compared to 48 percent who disapprove, according to Quinnipiac. And in a bad sign for his upcoming 2012 re-election campaign, 50 percent of those polled say he doesn't deserve another term in the White House.
In January, Obama's approval rating was at 48 percent—the highest number it had been in more than a year, though still dramatically lower than his 59 percent approval rating recorded in June 2009.
What's to blame for the president's slump? For one thing, 60 percent of voters disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy, while just 34 percent approve--the lowest number of his presidency.
Meanwhile, Obama appears to have taken a hit over Libya. According to Quinnipiac, just 41 percent approve of Obama's handling of foreign policy—a new low. Asked specifically about Libya, 45 percent disapprove, even as voters are virtually split on whether intervening in the crisis was a good idea. -

Obama vetoed a UN resolution condemning Israel for its illegal settlement building, how do you think the average person in the Middle East feels about that? You think that's gonna decrease terrorism, or increase it?

The economy is not looking too good for the future. Most of the new jobs being created these days are in the low paying service industry, where salaries run on avg of about 15 K per year. That's something you expect in China or Russia, but the USA is moving in that direction already. The rich are paying their workers less and less, and young people are going to become more and more desperate to make extra money. The economy is improving BARELY, but the real unemployment rate is around 15%, likely higher. Only 64% of Americans are participating in the legal workforce, so do the math. The only reason the unemployment rate is "8.9%" is because millions of people gave up looking for work. Who knows what they're doing, either going back to school or selling ? like so many people I know.
As far as martial law in the USA, nah I don't see that happening. Americans have vicious tempers, and although we put up with a lot, that's one thing that will never be accepted here.
America's future under Democrats or Republicans ain't gonna be pretty though. It's no wonder 70% of Americans believe things are going in the wrong direction. I worry deeply for America's future. -

All great points. But when you campaign on "change you can believe in" and don't actually deliver on fundamental changes....well then voters get upset.
Put it this way, every democratic candidate campaigns as if they are the second coming of FDR. Democrats and independents with a democratic slant WANT an FDR.
