this was posted around August 2010, which was at the start of the season...... i hardly doubt any major changes has happen since than, well bibby signing to miami, but anyway
its surprising to see the lakers is number 1,and not boston celtics , its also surprising to see that the spurs isn't even top 5........
the reason im saying this is because, every time people talk about boston u would swear they were the oldest team in the nba
and the same with san Antonio

this thread's OP is lovely, as it solidifies what I told some member yesterday...about young teams don't win 'chips. how validating is it, that the two oldest teams, wound up facing each other in the NBA Finals?
some truth dropped here... -
Good drop.
-
oldest team this year by average age now with the addition of mike bibby is miami heat
-
Im not surprised at the Lakers at all. Kobe and Fisher are old as dirt. And Odom, Artest, and Gasol have been around awhile.
As for the Spurs, they've over went some drastic roster changes over the last two years. -
Lakers got 4 ? under 30 and 2 of their names are Derrick Character and Devin Ebanks
-
I was gonna say Spurs witout even readin the thread. Glad I didnt.

Lmao people stay thinkin the celtics are old but with the addition of jeff green, Rondo and having 20 y/o Avery Bradely helps us not be the oldest team in the league
-
i dont know if its true or not, but it seems like the league is getting younger, as in dudes are worn down in their early 30's because by the time they've reached 30 alot of them have already been in the league 12 years
-
I was thinking with the addition of Shaq alone would make the Celtics the oldest

but the big 3 are still old including both o'neals -
Wit that trade I imagine the Nuggets are also among the younger teams in the league now too.

all 15 players don't play though bruh.
boston superstars are old -
does it even matter?

their old but having good statistical years Ray Allen's 3 point % is the highest of his career and Pierce is shooting the highest FG% of his career as long as they can still produce idc
