You obviously haven't been to parts of Africa and South America, the Beatles are a Western World Phenomenon, i know being in America can make it seem as if the Beatles are the biggest artists to ever walk on this planet but beleive me the likes of Mj and Bob Marley have a bigger global presence.

This is ? , there is a Beatles Museum in Buenos Aires, the Beatles were huge in Asia as well with performances in Japan (first musical group ever to play at the Budokan), the Phillipenes and Hong Kong. The case can be made for MJ without a doubt, but Marley is nowhere close in terms of world wide recognition.

Yeah. But I dodn't get into that ____ vs. ______ thing. Appreciate the message and the music for what they are, not what they aren't. I must confess to not reading "x" number of pages of debate because it's all opinion.

Personally, I have a "holy trinity" of music (in no particular order, and all very different): Prince. Bob. Stevie. All three contributions to global popular culture and the world of music are irrefutable and basically immortal. As a side note, MJ = best overall performer in pop music history, but not singer/songwriter/musician etc.

Sean Paul has surpassed his "impacy" long time ago..but you live in Africa so it's only natural that you catch up to ? centuries later. Bob Marley has even passed down his putrid genes to his crackhead sons. Sean Paul is an international superstar while the ? addicts Bob Marley's kids are making songs with that loser Nas.

Get Busy >>>> Bob Marley's existence.
