I agree and would say X only has one good album. The rest were trash and he got exposed. Safe to say that DMX was 50 in the late 90's.

This is one of the classic IC threads where it puts an "in" rappers versus and "out" rapper. The "in" rapper has a pedigree (being from NY/East Coast, gimmick, percieved lyricism) and the "out" rapper has the wrong net pedigree (South, only good for beats, cant rap). No matter what you do or say, even if you went bar for bar and proved how basic the "in" rapper is compared to the "out" rapper, these net geeks wont accept that one of thier beloved heroes could possibly be worse than one of there most hated.

X was good for what he did back in the day, but once you got past his gimmick, he was exposed for being an elementary rapper at best.

    ........
DMX actually had songs that meant something and dude never compromised himself for the industry. His character has been destroyed in the mainstream media due to this. Dude was ? with ? b4 he even had an album out...Every man has his demons. But on the spittin tip, he ? with ANYONE...........

1st off u obviously don't know too much about evalutaing a rapper. Its more than being superlyrical.

Go listen to Canibus if u want that ? .

Theres different areas (about 5) u rate an MC on. U keep goin back to the same thing.
