My one friend buys them. He loves all that history ? though.

The game is the most mindnumbing ? in the world.

I've read the Romance novels so it's interesting to see the creators interpretations of the history although before playing 7 I hadn't played them for a while because i did get a little burnt out, but I like the gameplay and characters it's a fun beat 'em up but i wouldn't recommend dropping the $60 unless you're a fan of the history

For me it's just a good stress relief. I use to play the game on the PS2 with my friends. We would just beat ? up so we could earn all the characters and weapons. It wasn't until maybe the 3 or 4th one came out that I found out it came from a historic Romance novel. I stopped playing after the 4th one, and I bought this new one, and I really like it. I saw a movie on Netflix called the Three Kingdoms that had all the major characters from the game that made me even more interested with Dynasty Warriors 7 since I got a much better idea of the actual story.

the fact that alot (if not all) of those characters are real people who actually lived
Lu Bu was a real person

but really I jus like being about to fight whole armies and havin alot of enemies on screen at one time
jus dismantling everything and everybody I come in contact with

they could really take the franchise to new heights if they would be put more effort into the fighting and strategy points of the game

do you all also play the more strategy based ones like what use to be on NES?

Nope, after DW4 I just stop playing altogether, because it was the same game over and over. I only bought this new one because it's been awhile since I played. Only strategy game I was ever into was Dragon Force for the Sega Saturn. I haven't seen a strategy game close to that since.
