is starting to feel that the life span of a rapper now and days are maaaaad short... I mean I really dont see drake being a legend whatsoever and I'm feeling his music... sometimes. it feels like ? get a buzz and die out in two years...
name a rapper that appear after 2004 and up that really still make an impact in the game?
and this top ten freshmen of the year ? every year.... c'mon ? there's not enough room for that many kats to be in the game to make a status of million of records sold so, I'm thinking new kats are not gonna be selling platinum records anymore cause there's a lot of ? out there putting out good music.... and also some garbage but, whatever people are buying it. real talk.

Its all because the music nowadays isnt relevant after a year or two

Yeah, I agree. Puffy was bullshitting himself when he said "10 years from now, we'll still be on top." And he's still on top financially, I guess, but not musically.
Artists problems stem from once they're on top, where do they go? I think that's when artists try to improve upon their legacy, which usually results in them branching out and doing different things, which usually is not accepted by the mainstream, which is why they don't stay on top for long because once you've tasted the top then you focus on other things. -
yeah is like rappers get to the top and start acting and investing in stocks and ? lol.... na but I'm just sayin rappers are getting old quick everybody is looking for the next one. J. cole could do it but, I dont want to judge too quickly. idk it's hard to guess who's gonna be the next Nas, jay, wayne... ect coming out with music ten years from now
