Damn that's a hard one, but the KEY word is artist. so in no order
2pac

Michael Jackson
Nina Samone
Jimi Hendrix tie Miles Davis -
Michael Jackson
Adele
John Mayer
Jimi Hendrix
Frank Sinatra -
I see some good musicians named, but some of you all need to diversify your music asap.
This is impossible but here's my rough fav 5. I'm going to guess that by "artist" the t/s meant "creative and innovative musician" so
1. James Brown
2. Bob Marley and the Wailers
3. Fela Kuti
4. Iggy Pop and the Stooges
5. Nas -
Michael Jackson
Prince
Mary J. Blige
Bob Marley

Paul Simon
2Pac
Morrisey (The Smiths)
Tracy Chapman -
1. Michael Jackson
2. Stevie Wonder
3. 2pac
4. Donny Hathaway
5. Lalah Hathaway
Honorable Mention: Mint Condition and James Brown -

50>>>>>>Pac Its been this way since the Gods plan mixtape in 2002
At this point comparing tupac to 50 cent is laughable and a slap in the face to 50
Pac was trash but media crowned him as ? years ago so of course impressionable revisionist stans will agree especially if u were 4 when pac was alive
He aint better than rappers like rakim,nas,biggie,jigga,A.G.,eminem,ghostface,Ice Cube etc
An open homosexual being in someone's top 5 was funny to me at the time
2Pac>>>>>>50 Cent it's been this way since 50 stepped on the Hip-Hop scene
Slap in the the face to 50? ? 50...and even if i did care, it couldn't be a slap in the face, because 50 hasn't sold nearly the amount of units or receives nearly the amount of love that 2pac gets
And Pac was never trash, how can a rapper be trash and put out critically acclaimed work? work that was critically acclaimed when he was alive
50 isn't better than rappers like rakim,nas,biggie,jigga,A.G.,eminem,ghostface,Ice Cube etc. -
