What part of the game is that?

I keep seeing threads about churches and so-called church people getting over on folks and quite frankly they're getting what they deserve. If you believe in the Bible and study it with any degree of dedication then you would be able to discern the truth from the fraud perpetuated by these so-called church leaders.

The thread about mega churches, what does the Bible say? Where does the Bible condone these types of things?

If you attend a mega church with the expectation of getting a lot of production, a well dressed preacher prancing around putting on a show.......then that's exactly what you're going to get, no fraud there.

But if you're expecting anything more, like salvation for example.......maybe you should actually try reading a Bible for yourself.
The structure of these mega churches and prosperity preachers/faith healers goes against everything the Bible actually teaches.

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matthew 6:1-8

I could give countless examples of how these so-called "churches" directly oppose what they're claiming to follow. We have to use common sense.

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Happy is he that hath the ? of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his ? : Psalm 146:3-5

People always want to cite these opportunistic snakes that use the Bible as a way to promote their own vain agendas in an attempt to discredit the TRUE FAITH.

What are you ? ?
