Yep, an egg is only viable for about 12-24 hours after that it starts to degrade. Viable sperm have been shown as being able to live up to a few days in the vaginal tract maybe a day or two before it significantly starts to degenerate and die.
It's kind of a guessing game but it's instruments out there that one can get to check a woman's body temperature to more closely estimate when ovulation occurs.
I think it is also another instrument that may or may not only be only available to physicians that measure the thickness of vaginal mucus that also helps closely estimate ovulation.
Vaginal mucus is said to get thicker around ovulation to make a more suitable pathway for spermatozoa up the vaginal tract. -

I dont know about that. I do know how females get pregnant though so on my end I assume she will get pregnant if...no need to get graphic but it really doesnt matter long as I handle my end accordingly/Use the appropriate caution

Lol I like having a daughter. I wanted a boy this second go around and wound up with another girl, but I'm not too disappointed. That all may change in a few years though. -
