and Sony-microsoft.com

Could this be the first step to a proposed merger or purchase of these two?

Could the future be one system for all?

Has Wii U been destroyed before it even has a chance to fight back?

You be the judge.

If this is the case it is not because of PlayStation, although that is a contributor. The main reason that Microsoft would buy out Sony is they want to expand into other markets to keep up with APPLE. By doing this they obtain Sony Picture in which they can compete with Pixar. Sony has a large record label so they can compete with Itunes/Ipad. In addition, there is a large movement of making your TVS more like a computer, this will allow Microsoft to have control of that market. Fact is Sony as a company is not doing well and are prime for a takeover.

That right there. Sony is one of the largest (probably the the second behind Toyota) contributor to the Japanese economy. The govt would never allow that.

LOL @ Microsoft having over 30K domains just to future-proof themselves against oppurtunists who want to make some quick money off of possibilities. I wouldnt be surprised if this had something to do with WP7. Was waiting on someone to bring this up but I guess not.Ha atleast u guys r smarter then I thought at first. lmao.

The only reason you see this is because Microsoft wants access to blue ray technologies, same thing Nintendo did

I don't think this has anything to do with gaming. While they compete against each other in the gaming market, gaming is a very small division of both companies (esp. Sony). So while they do go head to head in gaming, in their other divisions their techs and products work together.

UPDATE: Move along, nothing to see here. According to a Tweet from Microsoft corporate communications VP Frank Shaw the listing is just an innocuous "defensive domain name hold".

Never going to happen, unfortunately. (Hopefully I never have to eat these words)
