..in my experience. there were a few years in college where i never really watched tv. so when i went to the movies, i'd just pick a flick based on the actors. whenever i did this the movie was always really good. case in point:
no country for old men
we own the night
a history of violence
i had no idea what these movies were about when i went in, so the ENTIRE story had to unravel for me. plus the scenes that everyone else saw in the trailer were completey new to me so i would be like "Whoa!"
since then, whenever there is a movie i REALLY wanna see i skip the trailer. or maybe i watch it just once. i skipped the trailer for Dark Knight.
yall ever seen a movie and had no idea what it was about? how was the experience??

The trailer for The Hurt Locker ruins the movie.

i just went back and watched the trailer for History of Violence
had i seen it beforehand, there would be no way i wouldve like the movie as much
trailers kind of spoil the move. because they tell you the begin and middle and ? basically
so you sit there just waiting for "the good part to happen" -
I hear the Sherlock Holmes trailer ? up the movie...People were saying all the good parts and action scenes were in the trailer.
