WELL, A JOB'S A JOB
As the recession continues to squeeze us until the pips run dry, now is the time for industry, innovation and imagination.
So may this column doff its cap to the rather brilliantly named Mork Encino who has come up with a novel way of earning a few shekels.
Encino was laid off from his job in construction 13 months ago and, as you know, America is as banjaxed as we are, so he has been surviving on food stamps and welfare.
So, what's an unemployed former construction worker to do?
Well, in Mork's case, he has set up a website offering an unusual service -- for $10,000 he will let you hunt him for sport and if you can catch him you can ? him.
But he was quite bullish about his chances, saying: "I'm faster than a wild turkey, smart as any ? wild boar and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the monetary health of my family."
Interestingly, he says that while you can hunt him for 10 large, if you want him to be naked it will cost you another two grand to chase him through the woods.
In fairness, it's hardly an original idea.
After all, who among us can honestly say that they have never stripped naked, lathered themselves with engine oil and gone running through the neighbours' back gardens?
