Unproven, irrational feelings?

I'm asking this because sometimes it's obvious when someone is ? but other times like with DL guys/girls or homosexuals who don't fit the stereotype, it's hard to know if they are ? .


I went out with this friend last night, he's from out of town and was coming in for a visit so we decided to hang out. He was cute, sexy and I was definitely attracted to him but for some reason, I kept getting a ? vibe from him. I got it when I first met him in May and I got it again last night. I don't know why the thought keeps popping in my head but I don't normally have those suspicions. I don't know if it was his accent ( he's southern) or if it was his mannerisms or what but I kept wondering if he was. Even when he tried to kiss me, I still couldn't shake the feeling.

Any of you ever felt like that? Do you trust your gaydar or do you think it's ridiculous to assume someone may be ? with no evidence aside from your feelings?

    I think it's kind of ridiculous

    You're basically relying on stereotypes to type cast someone

    If that same person did that to you, like assume your angry because you're a black woman, you'd be ?

    ? or not, I think we should try to extend the same courtiseis we want from others

    You're right I would be ? and I didn't allow my thoughts to mess up our time together. It was just a feeling I couldn't shake for some reason.

    I don't like Tyler Perry. I'm not pushing him away. It was a feeling. That's why I'm asking.

    I've dated men that weren't uber masculine, he's just the first one that I've ever felt that vibe about.
