depends what kinda music we're talkin' about.. if it's ragga jungle.. i'd say it's Talk by Chuckberry & the irreplaceable Garnett Silk..
^@ about 2:15 for about 22 seconds, the bass is so insanely deep.. the vinyl actually has a noticeable change in it's texture.. i mean.. how do i put this... you've probably heard bass in your life but you haven't lived bass till you've held your head inside a 6 foot bass cabinet during this moment in this particular song..
now if we're speakin' on reggae.. i'm gonna go with an old favorite..

I didn't realize by putting a question mark I was making it up for discussion with anything more than whats in the OP.

Not trying to kid anyone, and his accomplishments have nothing to do with what I said.
You think I'm joking?
Take a random poll of people in the know and ask them who the best rock bass players are and see how often his name comes up if you don't believe me. The man does NOT get his due with regard to his skill as a bass player. -
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Barry White - Playing Your Game Baby
Marvin Gaye - Just To Keep You Satisfied
Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal
That just a few that I love, my brother plays the bass and he loves to hear this songs and come up with his own versions. -
