Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent blew up crazy in 2003 and effectively destroyed Ja Rule’s career and created a empire from the street up. It was based on street mix tapes, a fearless attitude backing from Dr Dre and Emenim and muscles! Seems like he couldnt be stopped with a debut album selling 15 million records. Putting out classics like "In The Club", "21 Questions". "Magic Stick" (with Lil Kim) and "Hate It Or Love It" (w The Game) fast forward to 2011 and he cant get out of the way of his own feet.

As the graph shows sales have plummeted, and his parent label Interscope is treating him Tryone the Crackhead on the Chapelle Show! I guess at this point its piling on but there aint much sympathy for dude especially when he made fun of his rivals such as Fat Joe when they failed. (There is a now famous web video 50 put out humilating Joe when his 2009 JOSE 2 album only moved 5,000 copies in the first week) So what goes around comes around.
