Uh Oh. Get out Your Gas Masks. Comet Elenin Is Composed Of Cyanide.
Just watched a Youtube video about the approaching comet Elenin and according to it's host the comet is composed of poisonous hydrogen Cyanide. it's schedule to approach the sun on september 10-11 and the Earth around October 16, 2011. This is nothing new. In 1910 when the comet Haley approached Earth there was also a concern of poisonous Cyanide.

However, the media and the public didn't entirely pick up on the harmlessness of the pass-through, and just focused on the fact that the Earth would be passing through a cloud of poisonous gas. Soon, hysteria began to build as people grew more and more fearful that poison would envelop the world. Scientists tried to reassure the public that the gas was so widely distributed that it would be unnoticeable, but the papers often failed to actually report that fact, and panic continued to mount.
The Joint Astronomy Centre discovered that the comet Elenin was composed of cyanide gas in June of this year.

according the the video we will be at an increase risk of Earthquakes and solar storms until January of 2012.

This Comet may contain a very huge electrical charge. As a kid I'm sure everyone has rubbed their shoes across the carpet and shock your brother or sister. The same thing could happen with comet Elenin because it had already been in our Solar System 10,000 years ago according to scientists. it's boomeranging and may come back with a huge electrical charge. As I said before this comet is partially composed of hydrogen cyanide. Hydrogen cyanide acts as an electric insulator and can turn the comet into a big electric capacitor. This could mean strong solar storms during the time it passes through our solar system from Saturday until January of 2012. -
Did ya ever notice we always seem to be given things to fear? Fearing or growing, can only do one at a time.

M. Drahus, University of California at Los Angeles; Bin Yang, University of Hawaii; and J. Hoge, Joint Astronomy Centre, report the detection of HCN (Hydrogen cyanide) in comet C/2010 X1 on July 30 when at heliocentric distance r = 1.07 AU.
Observations between July 30.153 and 30.249 UT at the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope show the J = 4-3 line with area about 0.1 K km/s in antenna temperature scale. Assuming an isotropic production of gas at velocity 0.5 km/s and a Boltzmann distribution of energy levels at 50 K, the derived HCN production rate is 1.5 x 1025 molecules/s, comparable to the mean level measured in comet 103P/Hartley at the same heliocentric distance in late 2010 (Drahus et al. 2011, Ap.J. 734, L4).
Kevin Heider responded on Leonid Elenin's Facebook page, "During the latter half of the 1800s, advances in spectroscopy allowed scientists to determine the composition of comets. Using spectroscopic techniques, scientists were able to identify cyanogen, a poisonous compound, in comets. When scie...ntists announced that the 1910 appearance of Halley’s Comet would entail the Earth passing through the comet’s tail, the stage was set for panic. For many in the general public, Halley’s Comet was impetus for the destruction of all life on Earth." -

Well I hope it's not true or exagerrated because the only mask I got are the paper ones from when that bird flu was going around. And I definitely don't got the cash to buy an underground half milli underground condo. I didn't even knew these things even existed until today. -

so the harmful radiation of the sun can't pass through our atmosphere, but cyanide can? True.
