thats really not true. Obama's federal spending is going to far, far exceed what Bush spent, and one of the main employers that continues to hire during this time is the federal governement. Not to mention the health care takeover, taking over student loan lending, and General Motors. -

Yes, he had to spend so our banking system would not collapse and clean up the wars that Bush started. Bush inherited a surplus from Clinton, got us into two wars, gave the wealthy a tax break,etc. The money that Obama has spent is to correct or stabilize the ? up economy that Bush failed to look after during his 8 year campaign of playing John Wayne in the Middle East. Healthcare is something that needed to be addressed, the big drug companies stay ripping off Americans with overpriced medication and when Americans went across the border to get cheaper drugs, guess what Bush did. He made it illegal to go and cop cheaper medication. Bush was a corporate puppet, he was in the pockets of the big companies. -

Bush spent money like a drunken sailor for wars, while Obama's policies favor the American people. There was a need for healthcare, there was no need for the war in Iraq.....Obama may be spending lots of money but what's the alternative? Someone has to correct the mess Bush left us. -

i think bush got clowned more but more misinformation is spread about obama. for instance: bush (not obama) authorized the GM bailouts. federal student loans come from the gov't anyway, so how is cutting out a middle man a takeover? and how is making people buy insurance from private insurers, a gov't takeover?thats really not true.
