MacGruber is an upcoming 2010 American parody action comedy film based on the Saturday Night Live sketch of the same name. The sketch itself is probable one of the few consistently fun sketch on SNL. Especially the one where the real MacGyver made a cameo.
I personally have NEVER seen an episode of Macgyver, so i was surprised to find the sketches very funny. I was equally surprised they were making a movie too. But the trailer looks fun, and i am so happy the stuck with the R rating, very few Comedies are effective below the R rating

Already getting great reviews based on its showing at SXSW. Currently 100% on Rotten tomatoes, based on 6 reviews.

Plus, i am a fan of The Lonely Island, so i am happy Jorma Taccone is finally getting some spotlight instead of Andy Samberg. Jorma is the Brains behind all their Sketches and Digital Shorts and he is the Director and Co writer of MacGruber.
