The chemistry and wit between the 3 hosts looked staged and it comes off like they're trying to copy the originals
The cars they have on the show (at least initially) are ? low budget cars.
The "guests" they have are lame has-beens that are not famous enough internationally to be on the british version (e.g. Jay Leno is American but he's been on the British one twice)
They copy everything, the track, making fun of the stig, ? that the stig himself.
