    There are lots of times in life when people don't get things right.....not signing the ROC was one of them. It's like undrafted free agents making it to the Hall of Fame. Or even that sixth round draft pick that everyone had the chance to sign but didn't. Eventually that talent breaks through.

    From the posts in this thread the half a century year old camel didnt blow up or get any recognition as an mc/rapper until the nas assisted "dead presidents", before thar it was fast paced twista style raps while wearing hawaiian shirts. Dame Dash turned him into the rapper he is today.

    At the time Jay was rapping like Das Efx but once he changed up his flow and did Reasonable Doubt, things changed
