Ryan howard is a Slugger yes but this dude is not Worth 5 year $125 Million
#1 He's already 30 Years Old ....Thats not THAT old in Baseball years but it is Old For a New 5 year $125 Million Contract...

# 3 He Plays First .......... There are so Many Good Hitters at First Baseman His Value is not as High as Someone like a Hanley Ramirez at Shortstop because there aren't but so many productive shortstops

While Ryan Howard is a Homerun and RBI Machine he's Not really ever going to be the .313 hitter he was for one season, he's realisticly a .260'ish hitter with 190 K's every year
While i like howard as a Player they Over Valued him, now they def will be losing Jayson Werth after this year...sorry i Just dont See Ryan Howard as Being the Second highest paid Player in the entire League , He's good as Hell but they Reached big time on that one.
