Warner Bros. Pictures has set a July 20, 2012 release date for Christopher Nolan's third Batman movie in conventional and IMAX theaters! That is a little over two weeks after Sony Pictures is releasing their Spider-Man reboot on July 3, 2012.
Nolan's second Batman movie, The Dark Knight, opened July 18, 2008 and earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
Stay tuned as we'll have lots of news on the Batman and Spidey movies over the next two years!

Batman is going to beat the ? out of Spiderman if the reboot as "peter parker, the teenage years" persists. Grownups are going to stay away--I know I am.

I say Catwoman. Its gotta be a woman. Its the only way to side step Heath Ledger's Joker comparisons. Also, it makes sense with the story. Somebody still has to "pick up the mantle". Catwoman can toe the line between villain and hero. That can be what draws her out. Bruce's love interest is also dead now. The only woman who can rival her's and Bruce's relationship would be Selina Kyle. So yea, i'm hopin for Catwoman or Riddler.

i have been hearing they dont want to put any other character in this movie who wears a mask (robin, batgirl, catwoman)...Bale has already said he would not do any movie they put robin in....dont expect a catwoman...Johnny Depp will probably play the Riddler if we're luccy lol

i heard they are going to bring back twoface but bane is probably a stretch...they are leaning towards bad guys not seen in any of the previous movies...think about the old school comics (penguin, harley quinn, talia al ghul, dr. hugo strange, maybe even killer croc) -
catwoman wouldn't be a bad idea.

While I don't think TDK was the masterpiece people make it out to be it was very entertaining. The definition of a great summer movie that didn't insult your intelligence. A ticket will be brought for opening weekend at a particular IMAX theater I like going to.

If they're smart, they'll leave the Joker out of it. Heath Ledger OWNED "The Dark Knight", and those boots are just too big for anyone to fill right now.
Im intrigued by the idea of Johnny Depp playing the Riddler, or by Catwoman being the next villain, provided they cast the right actress. Kate Beckinsale has expressed interest in the role, and I think she'd be a great choice. -
I'm down for the Riddler but he just seems like a poor version of The Joker...
