I went to best buy, did some browsing because I need an hdtv .. especially since red dead redemption, ufc 2010 comming out .. What hdtv set Ya suggest I cop ? Im looking for a 32" -36" nothing huge but 1080pi non the less. I want the best gaming experience.

? is driving me crazy cuz Im told lcd an led tv's lag when you play fast paced games .. fighting, first person shooters.
But they have the best picture quality .. plasma's dont lag but the picture quality is inferior to lcd - led. Most ill spend is $1000 because I plan on staying with this tv for years. What Hdtv's ya'll game on ? I need suggestions

I have a 32 inch plasma...Vizio..it is only broadcasting in 720p but it looks phenominal....I can only imagine what a 1080i version would look like.....and when I bought mine I paid somewhere betweem 520 and 570.....you should be able to get it for less than 400 now it you are looking to save some change and still get a pretty damn good tv

40 inch lcd 1080p Samsung. I have a small apartment so this size is just fine for me. ive never had any lag. i had some 'ghost' issues in the beginning but some tinkering with the settings ffixed that.

How much it cost you ? an what settings eliminate that ghost effect ? .. There's this new 32" Samsung Led tv that came out but that ? $1078 on amazon, im leaning towards it but this one reviewer said its horrible for gaming. Ill lose it if I drop a stack on it an it dont deliver

just so yall know 720p and 1080i are the same thing lol......1080p is where its at but for a 32-36inch 720p is basically the same(you dont really notice a difference until its 40 inches or up)

    i have a 32inch sanyo 720p that looks amazing
26inch sanyo 720p that is amazing as well
a 40inch proscan 1080p which is decent(cant complain it was a good value for 500$)
and a 46 inch samsung led 120hz tv....which is obviously my best tv

i want a 65inch but in my price range i can only afford a dlp 65inch which goes for bout 2,200(it comes with a free 40inch lcd 1080p or a free sofa lol)

if you tryna play games get a lcd and like i said for you 720p would be just fine just make sure you get a hdmi cord(this is a MUST)

whoa hold up just read that if you willing to drop a g you really should get a bigger tv idc if you dont want one or not when you compare how much you gonna pay for a 32-36 then look at how much bigger a tv an extra 200$ can get you its really a no brainer

    u can get a 50inch plasma for like 800
    46 lcd for under a g
40inch lcd for 700 or less

man you really need to shop around dont settle trust me if i had just got a better tv from the jump i wouldnt have bought so many

the TV i have has something called 120hz, and the highest setting (smooth) created some ghosting effects with uncharted 2 and MW2, like when there was fast movement in the game, like rotating cameras. its a shame because 120hz makes everything look super clear and smooth, but i dont think games are made to handle it yet.i paid a little under a g, but this was about a year ago.

For a grand you should be able to go bigger. It just depends on what size you want. 1080p is great. go look at some tv's and let picture influence you. check a bunch of places like sams club and whatever is around you.

37' Vizio. Cost around 550. Only problems I've noticed is getting the settings for regular tv right.
