To me its between:
Patrick Willis
Darelle Revis
Ed reed or
D Ware
You really couldn't go wrong with either of those four. The homer in me will take Willis dude does much more than just tackle, and he's really become a leader the last few years. He can't pass rush for ? though. D Ware disappears from too many games for me to say him and Ed Reed plays among other great players like Ngata and Suggs so he gets to just make plays. So I would go with Revis. -
Revis and Ware.
Ray Lewis is a beast too. He's the reason why them other dudes is great. -
Ed Reed is top 10 alltime
-
ed reed of course
-
D. Ware and I hate the ? Cowboys
-
Revis. He's the best at his positon by quite some distance. He's also the most unique defensive player now with the way the league is such a passing league now.

Patrick Willis, and I'm a Revis Stan
-
Ray Lewis is the best MLB I ever seen, ditto for Ed Reed with the safety position but at this point, they're up there in age
I think the top defensive players right now in no order are Suh, Peppers, Patrick Willis, Revis, Nnamdi -

I'd have to say Revis or Troy Pow-la-ma-loo. lol
I know Troy P is on the "tear'em down" side of the "build them up to tear them down" side of the hill when it comes to media/fan respect, but I judge defensive players by how disruptive and impactful they are and Troy P is to pitt's defense what Peyton Manning is to the colts offense, IMO.
Revis is the best corner in football right now. Period. Too bad these "nba-minded" fans think they can't give him props without it being a shot at [insert your favorite DB here]. -

He lines up everywhere on defense including corner. He calls the plays on defense. You really dont know what the ? you be talkin about LOL. Ed Reed is prolly rated higher than Ray Lewis on ppl All time Defensive players lists and thats not a knock on Ray, cuz he's a 1st ballot HOFer
Slow down bruh. Dont make ridiculous claims to support your point -
Surprised Suh aint getting more love
Id take Suh over every defensive player in the league -
This poll is ? without Suh on it but my vote is Ray Lew regardless…Ray Lewis has been the personification of defense this for over a decade no one else has even come close IMO

Ray Lewis top 5 DFF player of all time and the greatest leader in sports. I bet Reed would say 52 is one of the main reasons he's success. -

You said that as if Ray Lewis aint the best linebacker easily to come through the league in the last 20 years, possibly best ever -
Ray Lewis was the best player on one of the greatest DFF of all time. MVP type ? .

? , who has meant more to the Ravens ?
If you know the answer t this, you'll realize this debate just ended -
How is Clay Matthews not at least an option tho, damn.
-
Let me get my homerism on, and say Jared Allen deserves a spot up there, seeing as how he's the leagues sack leader, and also on pace to beat the single season sack record.arbitration wrote: »How is Clay Matthews not at least an option tho, damn.
He only has 3 sacks all season, but I agree he should be up there. -
Where is Jared Allen?
