The biblical ? took six days during his creation project. Despite the earth being much less than a drop of water in the ocean, why did creations dealing with the earth take so long when there are much larger objects in the universe?
And just for more info. could someone explain this one: "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of ? moved upon the face of the waters."

"The Earth had not at the time they are speaking took form, it had people but the future was not there because these first people wouldnt have been able to last long enough. Man did not know beyond himself and was not enlightened. While this happened spaceships traveled about the earth looking for useful minerals"
Lol just ? with you
When ? began to create the heavens and the earth, the earth was a desolate waste with darkness covering the land because light was yet to be created and wind raged over the surface of the waters. -
Genesis is a a narrative story of ancient Israel's traditions and concepts of the past . Not a scientific text. Genesis was not written to be a work of modern science.

I'm aware of it not being the best source for an explanation, but I just wanted thoughts on it.
