And yes, Jimi is one of the greatest to ever do it. I got his Best of Hendrix album. Nirvana, Foo Foo fighters, Rage against the machine to name a few. Dont know a lot of their songs but I plan on buy some albums. I really opened up to it in the late 90s early 00s.

Zach de la Rocha from Rage against the Machine can spit actually, but he never went solo or made a rap album. I saw Rage/Wutang headline Rock the Bells a few years ago, dope. and yea, most people who grew up in the 90s should have some appreciation for Nirvana.

Staind, 14 Shades of Grey was a great Album...

Nirvana, Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down, Jimi, Radiohead, Kings of Leon

Rock music fills in that soulful void i get from Hip Hop

I do. Mostly Janis Joplin and Jeff Buckley, though, because of the bluesy undertones in their voices/music.

    Good ? .
I'm more inclined to classic rock, Jimi, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, but I like some new rock too. MGMT are proving to be serious. Jimi Hendrix, Talking Heads, and Tom Waits are probably my favorite outside of hiphop

Yeah I listen to some, Jimi was my dad's favorite, so I heard that alot growing up.
Chuck Berry was my mom's favorite, I heard that alot too, that's why my music taste is different, I don't listen to Hip Hop all the time.

Yep, just about in the same amount as rap.
Clash, Pogues, Madness, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Sex Pistols, Velvet Underground, Neil Young, Springsteen, Zappa, Wild Man Fischer and Beatles are some of the favorites.
