KB is NOW one of the best players to ever do it, but back then he was replaceable on SHAQ's team.

    Replace with who? You really think you could have just put any joe schmo at the SG spot and they 3 peat? At the time the only players that would have 3 peated with Shaq was mcGrady, Vince, AI, Pierce and Ray Allen. Anybody else would have been a no go.

    You can remove Vince, tmac, and Ray from that list. None of them ? had the heart to help pull out that victory in that classic series vs the kings in 02

    we're talking about at that time, you have the benefit of hindsight on your side. Ray with the Bucks was a beast, T Mac and Kobe were neck and neck as the best in the league and VC the same as well.

    Kobe wasnt in his prime back then, and anybody who tries to dispute A.I.>>>>>Kobe during that time span is an idiot.



    Kobe was easily one of the top 5 perimeter players in the league that time, but that's all you can give him. No one say say that he was undoubtedly better than VC or T-Mac.
