I'm not sure I see how race plays into this particular case. I am always looking to open my mind, so anyone who can make a legitimate case, please do.
I think that some people really have mental issues that cause them to act in ways that a civilized society would find atrocious. This is clearly not a case of cultural differences where he was only doing what he knew to be right. He should be taken out of the public domain and kept under constant counseling. It might be that through delving into his particular case, an underlying biological causation might be established that could be used to deter or prevent future attacks of this nature. Just a thought. -
