We only got one month left of the year so we mite as well talk about it. In terms of mainstream relevance, which means consistent hit records, album sales, impact etc.. im not talkin who were the BEST that's another thread, just strictly mainstream success.

ye had two plat albums basically in a span of a year
he also had a solo hit too i guess with all of the lights

the thing about jay and ye is for compilaton albums they sold a ? load of albums and had a ? load of relevance. granted this summer i doubted the popularity of the tour and the album because most collab albums are over hyped. But thing about this...............
MMG compilation: less albums/sucess than a ross solo album
Bad Meets evil: allot less sells for em than normal
DJ Khaled: 1 hot single 2 mediocre 1s tons less albums than drake or lil wayne or ross would sell by themselves
And going into history most collab albums sell allot less than the most popular artist in the collab. But WTT sold allot of albums and had allot more relevance than the average compilation album. The tour is probally the best hip hop tour to go to 10+ cities with just 2 names. What other 2 names have toured together wtihout any other star and had the success of the WTT tour? -
