seen this happen one to many times to great talent .....

That look's worse than Bo Jacksons Injury, and we all know what happened.
Hope AP can pull through. -
Yea i seriously doubt he plays much next season at all..
Got that Contract just in time
get your $ while u can, and this is exactly why they say that, now if he would have waited til after the season he wouldnt have seen a dime -
He will never be the same runner after this.
-
Damn, Boomer.
I knew injuries would be a issue for him in the league.
At least he got his paper. He's young enough to come back and be a pro bowl back again. That explosiveness is probably dead tho. -
It was no need to play him. They should just sat him out until next year, now it's too late

Torn ACL, out for 6-12 months, he will be out for the next season [2012].
Good guy from TX - he is well revered in Palestine TX, damn shame he played for OU; OU curse continues again! -

The same injury wes welker suffered in the last game of 2009 season(except it was an mcl and acl),welker rehabbed all off season and played in week 1 on 2010
Peterson will be iiight
hopefully he wont end up like robert edwards .... -
Never pay to much for running backs. Even tho AP is a beast. A non drafted free agent at that position can be just as productive .

true but the chances of that happening are extremely slim. -

I agree to a certain degree. But AP deserved every penny of that deal.
However, Running Back is the easiest hole to fill in the NFL right now. The league Is more of a passing league, and the college ranks are stacked with talented RBs. -
Saw that and thought of this lol

Well maybe not so much drafted free agents but 3 round or lower for sure . Backs are just so abundant in college , you can always get a good one later on in a draft . And through time backs rarely carry a team to a SuperBowl . -

AP deserved the money because of his performance yes . I just think backs as a whole are overvalued . -
That looked like mcgahee's injury at miami in the title game
-
Shot out to Dejon Gomes on the tackle....break that ? ? up
