    UFC =/= MMA as a whole.

    what you saw was modified Vale Tudo rules.

    The sport is still too daggum new for people to be this damn ignorant to these type of things...

    they even air old Pride FC shows...


    I want the sport to be legalized in NY bs like that potentially makes it harder

    I don't think Sonnen will win. I just think he suprised A. Silva so much the first time cause he didn't hang out at a distance all scared like all of his other opponents had. Sonnen actually went after Silva and it shocked him. I think this time Silva will be ready and probably knock his head off.

    With all that said, I'm gonna cheer for Sonnen, he cracks me up.

    so nerfing the sport is your great idea?
    Vale Tudo Rules make these fights more fair for strikers as they can utilize more tools on the ground.
    where as unified rules give grapplers and wrestlers a huge advantage.
    ala that huerta gif.

    three points of contact = no knee to the head of a ground opponent, that's not fair.
    no knees to the head from side control, north-south position etc.= an unfair advantage

    it's called MMA not grapplefest.
    so why are the rules only helping grapplers?

    kicking a man in the head while he's down and obviously given up is bs, soccer kicks are lame there no skill to it at all if Anderson Silva tripped in a fight i can soccer kick him to a ko that sit is not skillful at all its barbaric and you can really ? somebody ? up with it
