Ive heard that haliburton is a signifigant shareholder with BP but thats just hearsay. Anyway Ive also heard that the olil spill is a good way to get that carbon tax bill to pass, and to practice evac drills along the gulf when hurricane season comes. Ive heard that BP couldved capped the well along time ago but by using shareholders like haliburton to handle the clean up, they can recoup the money theyve lost. There are stories of the feds turning anybody who hasnt been contracted to clean the spill, to basically ? off. Take it anyway you want. Im not providing any links cause I dont feel like it.
