for the last 7 years, people have debated if the 03 draft deserved to be put up on the GOAT draft classes that include 84 (Hakeem, MJ, Barkley) and 96 (Kobe, nash, Ray-Ray, AI) but its now time to acknowledge that 2008 class crushes that 2003 draft and in time will be on the level of 1984 and 1996. Check out the top 10 (IMO) from each and then speak on it

2003 draft:
Lebron
Wade
Bosh
Melo
mo williams
Chris kaman
David West
Kirk Hinrich
tj ford
Michael Pietrus

2008 draft

    96 draft>>>>>

def agree, 96 draft is best of all time in my opinion. but when you look at 08, they actually have a top 5 player at EVERY position in the league right now, thats CRAZY!!!!!

    oj mayo is mad sometimesy
gallinari might be suttin but the jury is still out as to whether he'll be more than a role player

so you pretty much only got rose, westbrook and kevin love vs lebron wade bosh and melo
with the exception of rose i don't think any of them dudes are drafted ahead of those 4

same could be said about that 03 class after lbj, wade, bosh and melo

the best of the rest in 08 looks like it will be better than the best of the rest of 03

exactly. SMH @ Kaman over Roy Hibbert. Some of those players on from the 08' draft are still getting better.... As far as depth goes I'll take 08'.

brook lopez has either been injured or avg 17 and 7 rebounds per game
i guess that mediocre line isn't ? *mind you he's on the nets as a second option, some games 1st

dandre jordan is dj mbenga that can speak english
oh my fault his averages of 5 pts 6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks isn't ? . those are all star numbers. ? outta here with ? buyin into that lob city marketing campaign

    roy hibbert
    Career 278 24.0 4.5-9.3 .480 0.0-0.0 .273 2.1-2.9 .724 6.2 1.6 1.6 0.4 3.2 1.7 11.0

    chris kaman
    Career 532 29.7 4.9-10.1 .482 0.0-0.0 .000 2.1-2.9 .740 8.3 1.4 1.4 0.5 2.9 2.3 11.9

umm statistically they are similar but the edge does go to kaman.
or is this somehow impossible to digest cuz hes a balding white boy?

i'll take the argument that eric gordon is better than mo williams but they pretty much play the same role on whatever team they are on.

eric gordon has more potential yeah but hasn't done much more

2008 draft has top 5 position players RIGHT NOW
Russ Westbrook = top 5 PG
eric gordon = top 5 SG (when healthy who is better than him after Kobe, Wade, Joe Johnson, and James Harden)
    Hibbert = top 5 center
    Kevin Love (DUH!)
only one iffy is Gallanari being a top 5 SF (after KD and LBJ, Rudy ? , Iggy its a HUGE drop off

All those guys are still improving tho Lopez has average 20 ppg in a season thats far from "? " U gotta remember Deandre Jordan was a 2nd round pick nd is improving far from "? " rofl @ u comparing Jordan to DJ Mbenga. Funny how Lopez a 20 ppg scorer is ? how can u say the 03 draft is better if Lopez who was a 2nd tier player in the draft is ? ?

    Not even close.

Lebron ? on the whole 2008 draft BY HIMSELF. Then adding in Wade, Melo, and Bosh makes it no contest.
