1st Off, i Love Magic , the dazzling style , the flair and smoothness. it was easy to be drawn to him, i still get hyped over his highlights.
But Rings, MVPs, Charisma, swag, aside
As a player, Isiah got him beat.
Zeke had a better jump shot, Zeke had the better handles,Zeke was a better defender , Zeke was quicker, and faster . and Zeke was as equal a good passer as Magic.
Magic reminds me of Rondo but with less quickness, speed, and defense.
While Zeke = Chris Paul
If Both Zeke n Magic, were to get drafted in this upcoming draft ,i doubt Magic would be as effective as he was in the 80's.

only skill he had better was jumpshot. but magic was just as effective as a scorer and had better career averages in points, rebounds and assists and they were equal in steals
passing and handles as well as court vision... magic was better. magic was also a crafty defender who could defend (and play) all 5 positions.

magic was a terrible defender, & a terrible shooter
Isiah Thomas handles would still be effective in today's NBA , Magic hell no.
Zeke court vision and passing was just as excellent as magic's, Magic is more flashier.
Magic got most of his points by posting up point guards, that's why his FG% is so high, majority of his shots came from the post.
i see where u coming from, but Lebron is a better shooter, slasher, ball handler then Magics. Lebron is faster and quicker then Magic. again Magic just have more flair.
If anybody in the league reminds me of magic it's Rondo. both are excellent playmakers, both have high i.q's,both are flashy , both are poor shooters.
Rondo has way better handles, quicker, faster, and is a way better defender.
Magic is a better post player then Rondo,
and if you wanna see a Isiah Thomas pro-type see Chris Paul, CP3 plays exactly like Zeke.

Mirror each other?? You need to get your vision checked. Magic has damn near 4 more rebounds and two more assists. This coupled with the multiple chips and MVPs?? Take nothing away from Zeke but he is one tier below Magic who is a legend... -

THATS the point, Magic was a 6'9 guard who could play and did any position on the court. 2 assists per game over a career...its a little more than a THOUSAND more assists and Zeke played one more year than Magic. So Magic is a better scorer, better passer and better rebounder...plus you know the whole 5 Time NBA champion and 3 time MVP. Magic is on another level.

Zeke was better as far as skill imo as well.....When ppl look @ championships and FMVPs of course they will go with the most accomplished but Zeke was one of the coldest guards to ever grace this court. Isiah won back to back championships he also busted Magic ass in the Finals by sweeping the Lakers....But like always Zeke never gets the credit he deserves He should been on the Dream Team but Magic and Michael blackballed him
