to be real them ? all family to a certain extent. Baby aint pay em but at the same time he was they father figure so its still a certain amount of respect there. Juve dissed Wayne and Baby hard in the early 2000's yet came back when he needed bread and a plat album. BG stayed dissin then they would make back up, hell he rode for Wayne when Squad up was dissin him after they had a bitter fall out.

Juve was on the cover of XXL and explained why he left. It was b/c Baby was stealing money from him. I think he said he was supposed to do sometype of 2 day event somewhere. I think Baby told him the show was 20,000 paid him half upfront you get the rest after the show. Baby paid him the 10,000 and he went and did the show. At some point he's chilling chopping it up with the promoters and they slip and tell him that they already paid Baby 60,000 for Juvey to perform. So Baby and slim took 40,000 and only gave him 20,000 -

Money and work ethic. Every rapper isn't cut out to be indy. they need that help b/c they not grinding hard. They want that shine and appeal. that's why artists sign with Baby. Same for diddy and every other shady ass record company owner.
Plus by the time Mannie left Juvey had came back and did a album with cash money. -
