SideQuest Studios' upcoming RPG draws near.

RPG gamers on PlayStation Network have been keeping a close eye on the upcoming game Rainbow Moon for some time. From the minds at SideQuest Studios, the guys that gave you the Soldner-X games on PSN, Rainbow Moon is a lengthy, meaty and difficult RPG with heavy strategy elements. And now, it finally has a release date and price.

Rainbow Moon is set to come to PlayStation Network (for PS3 only) this July. European gamers will get it on July 4th; other territories will get it in July as well, but no specific date has yet been given (though an exact date should come out in the next couple of days). It will cost $14.99 in North America, €12.99 in Europe, £9.99 in the UK and $19.95 in Australia.

EastAsiaSoft, the game’s publisher, has also revealed that a deluge of DLC will be available the day the game comes out. These “100% optional and non-consumable items” range from “character-boosting items such as Rainbow Coin and Rainbow Pearl sets” and roughly 20 other “free and premium” packages.

Rainbow Moon is a long game. We’re a little over 20 hours into the experience so far. Keep an eye out for our full review in the coming couple of weeks.
