I don't. My daughters are younger and I do all sorts of things with their nails. -
Not at all.
It is a form of art and allows them to express some individuality I think. -

Ok ladies help me choose which 3 colors for the ombre attempt:
I'm leaning towards the top 3...yay or nay?
@SpecialK-stop tempting me with your evil ways
-
@sixsicksins I like the top 3
-
lol....well it's no fun if I don't have anyone to share in the obsession with. I'll find them and send one your way
I agree with you. The pinks in the last set look very similar so I am not sure if there will be enough contrast but that could be just how the photo is coming across....
Do you like sinful colors? The few that I have seem really thin and I can't get good coverage even with multiple layers. Shame since I think my Walgreens has them on sale right now -
@specialk I don't like sinful colors at all
-
Ready for some feet pics......
you supposed to be a simp
how you this late to the party bruh?
and SMH @allparish.................mofos stay revealing their feminine side in the powder room haha -
@specialk I don't like sinful colors at all
Do you have a favorite brand?
I prefer OPI, stays on the longest for me. I had my eye on this one and didn't get it...kicking myself!!
OPI-(I lily love you)

I love OPI too. I loooove that color!!! Me and pink and glitter are >here<. I also like Essie. Orly isn't too bad either. Their base coat is great.
-
Loves glitter, loves pink, loves red!! :x
I do like Orly but the brush is small-I like the wider brushes, easier to get good coverage for me.
I have this one by Orly, it's called Space Cadet. Does amazing things in the light- Both of these pics are from the same color...

I hate ol secondary simps................:(
? cosigned Chi like he said something significant when asking for toe pics
ya'll ? be late
meanwhile I stay thirsting early -
@tabatha
Drink lots of water. This will keep your hands, cuticles, and fingernails hydrated. It may sound redundant but hydration and proper nutrition is key in skin, hair, and nail care.
Take care of your cuticles. Applying a cuticle oil or even Almond or Olive oil provides good moisture and massaging it in can help circulation and encourage nail growth.
Be careful when trimming or filing them. When your nails get damaged, regrowth can take weeks/months. Filing is better than actually cutting the nail because when you cut them it can create small fractures making them more prone to chipping/splitting. I hear using a glass file is best but I have not tried that.
Is this that polish you are talking about? If so, I want it just for the bottle, lol
-
@tabatha_ yes it took some trail and error to find a good magnetic polish. I like sephora's, but Sally hansen has a whole line out, so I will be trying those too.

Okay ladies..I tried the ombre thing and it did NOT work for me. Have any of you done/tried it? Any tips?
-
Do they have Sally Hansen nail care in London Tabatha?
-
@Britt
I tried it months ago.... definitely takes practice-my first attempts were pretty bad!
Are you letting the base color dry completely? -
@specialK yes, I let the base coat dry for about 15-20 mins first. When I put it on it looked like colored concrete on my nails, then the sponge stuck to it..just a mess all around.
My friend did it using a piece of wax paper..I might try that.
