I know the game was played this morning. So youre telling me they couldnt replay the game during primetime on NBC. I dont get nbcsp in my package, but mens basketball shouldnt be on some obscure ass channel anyway.

Shouldnt have to buy any equipment or go through any changes to watch olympic basketball. Are you telling me womens cycling gets better ratings? This is the type of stuff that kids remember the rest of their lives and to some it will inspire them to do something with there life. I remember when Sugar Ray Leonard won gold in 76. Plenty cats in my hood started boxing because of that.

NBC has ? up the coverage SOOOO badly....you cannot have tape delayed sports in 2012...? just doesnt work. Everything should be shown live. With repeats of the good stuff (Basketball) in prime time

i'm sure if it were for something other than a preliminary game, it would have been shown primetime. they didn't broadcast the phelps flop live, it was for an actual medal. they held it for primetime.

In reply to Matt; I'm posting from the comforts of my home. I have internet, dish tv, and a droid htc phone but i'm not complaining on just my behalf. I'm talking about those who cant afford to have those three luxuries that a lot of us take for granted. As a citizen you should atleast be able to watch your national team play every 4 years. I think its a slap in the face to all the disadvantaged kids in the country. They're televising sports that that demographic of people cant afford to participate in. Skeet Shooting? Cycling? Canoeing? People in the ghetto have no interest in these sports, of course there are some exceptions, but very few.

Im not stepping my cable game up to watch something that only happens every 4 years. Also there is no comcast where I live. Stop making excuses for their wack ass coverage. There is no excuse. Just like right now they're showing Russia VS Brazil womens basketball. No excuse for yesterdays mens game against France, which is loaded with nba players, not to be broadcasted.
