Sony Testing Rental Links on PlayStation Store - Presumably tied into PlayStation Now.
Sony has added the option to rent certain games from the US Playstation Store, though the links don't appear to be functioning yet.
The interface was spotted last night by MP1st and PSN Stores (via VG247), leading to speculation that a non-public test is taking place ahead of PlayStation Now's North American release later this year.
As you can see, options exist for renting games for either one, seven, or 30 days. Regarding the "free" pricing, that's probably just a placeholder until the service goes live. Seeing as this is very likely tied into PlayStation Now, it's possible the potential prices for the service spotted earlier this week will apply.
There's still no firm information on when Europeans will be seeing PlayStation Now, though the best guess is 2015 at the earliest as Sony has admitted problems with broadband strength in Europe. It's expected to roll out in North America later this year; for ideas on what to expect, check out our hands-on impressions.
PlayStation Now will recommend an internet connection speed of 5Mb/s to ensure a "good experience", according to Sony.

If those rentals can be cheap, as in no more than 5 for 7 days, I'd gladly support it.

Future PS4 system update 1.70:
Adds a "rich video editor" to help you personalize video clips
Allows you to export to and save videos and screenshots to a USB drive
Adds an HDCP off option for capturing gameplay via HDMI
Introduces "a lot more"--will be announced in the future
A separate PS4 system update will add the ability for Twitch broadcasts to be archived. Currently, the Xbox One version of Twitch allows you to archive your broadcasts. In addition, this upcoming update will deliver broadcasts in 720p, an upgrade over the current resolution. -

PS PLUS TO OFFER TWO PS4 GAMES A MONTH STARTING JUNE
But games won't be around for quite as long.
Sony has revealed the PS Plus content coming to Europe and North America in June, and also announced PS4 owners will now get twice as many titles a month.
There are other changes too. A post on the PS Blog explains that, starting in July, games will be available for slightly less time, from the first Wednesday of the month right up until the first Wednesday of the following month. Sony justifies this by explaining most gamers are downloading the titles right away, but in effect this means you may not have access to as many titles on PS3 as you once did.
"Since we are always looking to continue the evolution of PS Plus as a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games each month within the Instant Game Collection," it reads. "As you’ll see below, starting in June, members will now have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.
"Since we’ve seen how excited many of you are to download Instant Game Collection titles as soon as they’re available, we’ve decided to adjust the length of time each title will be available. Starting in July, every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Wednesday of the month, and will be free for that month, until the first Wednesday of the following month."
Europe
With this in mind, the two titles coming to PS4 on June 4 in Europe are Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2: The Complete Story. The first is a quirky twin-stick shooter that blends blasting with puzzle-solving, while the second is a beautiful puzzler set in a fairy tale world.
PS3 owners, meanwhile, are set to get NBA 2K14, which we thought was the best basketball simulator ever, alongside the psychotical survival horror Lone Survivor.
If you haven't downloaded May's offers yet, be aware that Stick it to the Man, Payday 2, Brothers A Tale of Two Sons, Muramasa Rebirth and Everybody's Golf will all disappear on April 30.
You can pick up a PS Plus membership if you're yet to get one by visiting Sony's Store.
North America
North American PlayStation owners will also get Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2: Complete Story on PS4, along with NBA 2K14 on PS3, but the rest of the offerings are a little bit different.
PS3 owners in North America can look forward to Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, while US Vita owners have Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe to get their teeth into.
Quite why Sony has decided to make the change is anyone's guess, but it's possible that Microsoft's revamped Games With Gold programme, which now bares a striking resemblance to PS Plus, could have something to do with it. -
PlayStation Network will undergo routine maintenance on Monday, June 2 from 9:50 AM to 3:30 PM Pacific. Sign on before if you want to be able to play online between those times.
