Thoughts on Madden 13 Demo?
Options
I honestly think it took a couple steps back. Went from a day 1 buy to a wait and see purchase. The playcalling screen is ? up and the graphics have been scaled back in order to squeeze other features on a disc.

I haven't ? with it yet but I always wait to buy it when its on sale and I can get it for $30 or less
-
That thought the graphics and presentation were pretty damn good, but maybe that's because I haven't ? with the last two Maddens. I might actually buy this and I stopped ? with sports games awhile ago. Now if 2K shows me something on the 2k13 demo, I might jump back in the sports genre.

Isn't each Madden the same thing? (aside players, tweaks and a few new additions)
It's like you're paying $60 a year for add-ons. -
pre-paid card......redbox......2.00 and if its ? Gamestop lol

^ nope, can't do that any more.

Just download the demo and see what you think, you might be surprised. Aside from buying '10, I haven't ? with Madden since '07 on the original Xbox, but I'm seriously thinking about buying '13.

How smooth is the running game for those who played it? Also, in Madden 11 the corner backs would make a cut before the wide receiver. Is that still going on?

I'll give my opinion once I figure out why I'm having a problem downloading the demo.

Naw not on this joint....I'm glad they took care of that -

the new engine makes a difference in the running game, theres still some ? to work on with it, but considering this is the first year with it, not bad at all -
The graphic look better than last year.
The camera angle do seem farther back.
Dont like the analog for kicking -
The running game is cool, you'll feel more comfortable running the ball without having to worry about ya RB losing the ball every other play. Stripping the football seems like it will be harder to do this year.
The new tackling animations could be better. The players fall all over the place and it seems like their limbs are on some matrix ? . You can see the players ankles, legs, etc. bending awkwardly. But it's only the demo, so EA may change that, or maybe not...it's EA.
I guess nano blitizing will be out of the game this year because ya players move back to their original positions after you click off of them (LB's and D-Lineman).
They also took slant outs out of the hot route audibles (thank ? ).
I'm going to cop the game and more than likely complain about some new b.s. that online players have found...as usual, smh. -
Took slants out the hot route menu?
That's the number 1 hot route in football. You just can't take that out. -
no the slant is in but for some reason you cant slant out i dont know why they did that pretty sure we will hear an explanation.
also the tackling needs some work... WHERE IS THE HITSTICK?

for vids/impressions -
The hit stick is still there its just not as obvious as it used to be. The nfl has something to do with that with the ? down on head shots. It's just a stronger tackle now as opposed to looking like a huge hit.
