? cant catch a break..
Terrell Owens was among the players notified of his release by the Seattle Seahawks.
NFL teams must reduce their rosters from 90 players to 75 players by Monday. The team has not announced those players who will be cut, but Owens revealed he had been released on his Twitter account.
Owens was signed by Seattle during the second week of training camp. He caught two passes in the two exhibition games he played for 41 yards. Owens was signed to a one-year contract for the veteran minimum, which is just under $1 million for a player of his experience. He was never considered a lock to make the roster, and with Sidney Rice returning from shoulder surgery and Braylon Edwards playing well, he was considered an increasing long shot after his first exhibition game in Denver when he was targeted five times, but had no receptions.
Owens, 38, was signed by Seattle after what was a phenomenal workout for the team. He was time running 40 yards in 4.45 seconds. Owens is No. 2 in receiving yards in league history, but he did not play in the NFL last year after suffering a torn knee ligament in the spring. He played for three different teams in the three seasons before that.
When Seattle signed him, coach Pete Carroll said the team was looking for someone to be a big, physically imposing receiver after the release of Mike Williams. Owens was a candidate. So was Edwards, though the two were playing different positions. After three exhibition games, Edwards ranks second on the team in receiving yards behind tight end Anthony McCoy.
Owens was not made available for comment after either of Seattle's exhibition games.

He'll get picked up he was flat in his outings besides one pretty good over the shoulder catch.. TO can still beat coverages and hes still 6'3 6'4 and imposing..
Arizona, Miami, and a handful of other teams can use him.... -
Bring him back Jerry...

i thought he would have made it to the regular season. he looked like he was getting better by the game. he had no catches in week 1, then he had two catches for 41 yards. oh well, maybe a team like Miami or the Jets may give him a chance.

Lol@his role...it wasnt like it was a sure thing he would make the team anyway i call ? ,but if t.o. was crying he can forget about getting another chance to make a nfl roster.

Bryalon Edwards sucks.
Miami should pickup Chad, TO and Plaxico but they wont.
I think it would help sell tix and give their QB 3 good targets. -
Bring him back Jerry...

If a team like the seahawks released you its pretty much a wrap for your career...
